After Antennas previous, and very successful, album "Feeling Feline Tonight" (which topped several indie charts in Europe) the singer decided to leave the band. Johnny Persson, the songwriter and "engine" of Antennas, decided to step in himself and the band became a duo.

Writing of new songs comminced and now their third album "Neanderthal" is done and will be released after the summer. First single off the upcoming album is "No Forever". We quote the excellent Absolut Noise blog because they summed this single, and what Antennas are all about, up quite well.

"Inside, you will find a great chorus, an unexpected saxophone and Nina Kinert on backing vocals. Quite a good recipe. Sure there is some beauty in it, but the most interesting piece stands in the dirt. Cause the song is much less “nice” than what most of Swedish pop bands usually do. Well, actually, I am not even sure you can call this “pop” music. It’s too much deranged to be pop. That's what makes Antennas unique."

Here is the video for Antennas single Always On My Mind. It's the ever present tale of lost love and not being able to forget. The songs message have been excellently brought to vision by Andreas Avelin (and photographer Frank Aschberg). Big thanks guys! CHECK IT OUT HERE

VIDEO It All Works Out In The End [directed & filmed by: Julian Antell]
The director Julian Antell shot the video for Novak debut single using only 8 mm film to get a warm and old feeling. The video is shot at a stock car race in Gotland and while the band are performing the cars race and crash just a couple of meters away. This way the title of the song, “It All Works Out In The End”, is perfectly illustrated. Life has a strange way to “work itself out in the end” no mather how many crashes you go through. The song is a great pop song with nice arrangement and unresistable guitars and vocals. Christian Björkmans exceptional voice makes you really believe that, as long as you’re patient and can wait it out, everything’s gonna be OK. CHECK IT OUT HERE
