K R I E T
It all started with a large floor tom
a guitar and a synthesizer. Isak Sundström and Jacob Frössén
spent hours playing instrumental synth-boogie in an old attic. Isak
started writing lyrics to some of the songs and S K R I E T (The
Scream) was born. The texts were about birds, decay, friendship
and love. The kind of love that attack your insides and skeleton,
that make you physically weak. Or about waking up in a bed and feeling
unable to stand up, your legs are prostheses made of heavy steel.
A dream of a place filled only with stone where you are sitting
with a dear friend talking about birds is spinning in your head.
Inside you hear a faint and dull scream that sounds like if Elvis
Presley would sing Blue Moon in a feverish state.
